Trying to master a language is useless. Because you won’t master it. You’ll never have a perfect level.
Even natives don’t. They keep learning their own language. Some can’t even write, read or speak it correctly.
You’ll always learn new vocabulary words and expressions.
You’ll always learn new cultural aspects. It’s mostly true if you travel in a country related to the language.
You’ll always learn new grammar points. Or you’ll rather become to understand them.
A language also continues to evolve over time. It’s even true for ancient languages like Latin.
So don’t try a master a language. Just reach a conversational level as a first step.
